rp:a leggy type,looked as if the race would do her good and she finished strongly from off the pace. She can only progress from this and on breeding should stay further.

GUERTINO - LOST -2pts
Was the paddock pick and he went off a little too keenly. Headed well over a furlong out he had nothing left and was eased slightly close home. He is worth another chance and the race will have helped put an edge on him.

Our two trainers also had another runner each at this meeting.

14.50 ANGARIC - 2nd @ 7/1 beaten a sh/hd
Rp: Angaric ran well on his seasonal debut for the second season running. He was only just pipped and doesn't appear to be too badly handicapped.

16.50 SPIRITUAL PEACE - 3rd @ 12/1, beaten 2 nk’s.
Rp: has gone well fresh in the past so this encouraging reappearance was no surprise. He is even more potent with cut and over six.

So near and yet so far!! But at least the trainers have the horses ready and running well, can’t be long until we get our first crop of nicely priced winners.
