OK this was my post for the Lincoln, the night before racing.

My three against the field:

Gentleman's Deal 5pts win @ 28/5 bf
Very Wise 2pts to win @ 12/1 bf
My Paris 2pts to win @ 14/1 bf

Very Wise won the race leaving 15 pts of profit!!

(I know it should be 17 pts but as you will see from Saturdays post I had another 1pt bet on two other horses in the race at big prices for insurance purposes, one was priced at 33/1 & the other was at 28/1).

I have no problem betting 3 or 4 horses in a very difficult race as long as I get a decent RoI, this is especially important when you are staking 100 pounds or more per point!!

Actually betting high stakes bring another set of problems that I will talk about later.
