One of the RULES of the System is that we NEVER BACK ODDS-ON, so if you were unable to get odds of evens or better on LAWYER DES ORMEAUX the selection would not have been a recommended bet.

The horse omitted by me CAPE VELVET did in fact lose, so my decision was vindicated. Phew, thank goodness for that.

Unlike our other BACKing Systems where we stake 2pts per selection, System CM07 takes a different approach deciding on a win target amount to achieve before starting again with a new group of selections.

For the purpses of this blog I will treat the target as 2 points, so a winner WINS 2 points as well as winning back previous losses.

I think with the summer coming this is an ideal System to work with, as once the weather improves you can expect lots of winners in the evens to 4/1 range, with short losing runs.

The System now stands +10pts in profit for the season, having had 5 winners and due to the sophisticated loss recovery method.
