At the moment we are just watching the Systems selections, until horses have had their first run and we can see some degree of consistency in the trainers form.
Today we had a runner at Folkstone, NICOMEDIA, which finished 2nd, which is good, but a winner would have been nice.
The Racing Post reported,
rp: Nicomedia proved no match for the winner, but still proved too strong for the remainder.
Another runner at Southwell, EL PALMAR, finished last of 14 @ 14/1, which was disappointing.
So we ended the day for proofing purposes down another -4pts.
B/fwd total: -19.9pts
Running total: -23.9pts
On the positive side, one of the other trainers in our system had two runners at Folkstone and one, NORDIC LIGHT, WON at 5/1.
The second runner, RIVER KIROV, finished 4th of nine @ 4/1, beaten 1.5 lengths.
The races however, were handicaps and we do not take handicap races into consideration for this particular trainer.
BUT at least one of our trainers had a nice winner, and we are getting there, slowly!!
