Conditions looked to favour him more than his stable companion, but he was left trailing inside the last furlong, having had every chance inside the final quarter. His trainer did feel afterwards that bringing him back in trip may see him return to his midsummer best of 2008, and he is undoubtedly better than this. - racingPost

After finding the surface too lively at Newmarket, Lahaleeb returned to her best, looking the more professional of the first two, which is testament to how much better the winner actually is. She raced just off the pace and ran on well when grabbing the far rail inside the final 2f but was done on the line.
Already a Pattern winner on this sort of surface, she is capable of winning another, but the ground looks an essential component. She may well get an extra couple of furlongs as well. - racingPost
