Any bet that means more work for them! You can stick your 'Stop At A Winner' bets up your a*se!

Pricewise: Not because he has such a great strike rate, but the volume of money on the selections that causes the loss when he does pop in. This then leads me to the next point

Traders: Those people that take advantage of a bookmakers price and then lay off on the exchanges to guarantee a profit. This is common with Pricewise horses and Football Coupons. Personally, I don't care about the football coupon restrictions too much. More often than not the teams get beat anyway.

People that win then leave: The idea is that you are meant to hang around all day and give your money back one way or another.

Anyone that wins big and doesn't tip: Tight a*se gits.
The staff have to run around to get the customers money together from any number of shops, count and check it all, get the payout authorised. The least you can do is drop them a drink or two .

Customers that want payout as the horse is about to cross the line: Most common on Grand National day with the once a year punters.

Customers that turn up after 9:20pm: The worst type. You have been there since 8:30am, got the shop ready to go, all the money counted from the machines, then someone walks in and puts £3 worth of change in a machine .

Fruit Machine Players: These are the people that play the FOBT's like fruit machines. Put £20 in, wins £2 and presses collect. Then proceeds to put another £20, losses £2 and presses collect again. Continues to do this several times before coming up to the counter with 10 tickets. They will then go straight back to the SAME machine they were playing and repeats the process once more. Finally gets annoyed that you can't pay him out because all the money is inside the machines! You would be surprised how often this happens!

E/W double bets - They don't like those either, 2 placed horses where the combined odds is 5/1 or greater is a losing bet for the bookies.

Placepot bets - They don't know how much it will cost them if the bet is a winner.

E/W bets on 2nd/3rd fav in 8/9 runner mdn races when there is an odds-on fav in the race.
This is the bet pros use apparantly according to my rp betting book.

That means these are the type of bets we should all be concentrating on.

I backed this horse last Saturday and for those of you who watched the race you will know that he jumped out the stalls, ran 10 yards and planted his feet refusing to move any further.

My disappointment was tempered when I heard his trainer comment,

Tuesdays results.

Today I made the mistake of trying to back horses in four meetings at the same time and got into all sorts of trouble because I was trying to do it all on BETFAIR.

What I didn't realise is that this System should be run whilst sitting in a comfortable chair in front of the TV, with a phone handy to make your bets. Instead of trying to gets bets on at different meeting on Betfair!!

What I discovered was that by using Betfair you get WORSR odds than SP unless you have the time and patience to watch the market movements, and even then it is difficult to get better than the bookmakers odd; Especially when you take the 5% commission on Betfair into consideration.

So there were 10 bets, 3 winners, and 7 losers, four of which finished second!!

We started well with a winner, and we ended with a winner, anyway here is the full story.

Sad to announce System TTF07 is no longer being reviewed on this blog.

System TTF07 is a statistics based system that follows certain trainers at specific racetracks.

While the System is successful over the season as a whole, it has started slowly and I prefer to look at other systems that are producing profits right now.

It is a flaw in my character that I want financial returns in the short term, with a short run of losers.

So we wish System TTF07 good luck for the coming season.

There were another two selections but they were both non-runners.

The Racing Post reported,
rp: Sweet Diversion ran well again as he was coming back off a five-month plus break. He usually goes well fresh but is probably as high as he wants to be in the handicap.

Boychuk had only run five days ago at Aintree where he had quite a hard race. His jumping let him down here as he was less than fluent on a number of occasions and he has it to prove now.

Sawwaah, beaten less than a length,
who has been in such form lately, found little going right for him. Shuffled back in the field after breaking awkwardly, he was a fair way back turning for home in a moderately run contest.

Eager Igor, btn 1.5 lengths, was unlucky. Trapped on the rails, and with nowhere to go, he had to be switched to find daylight, and, although staying on well, he was never able to find enough quickly enough to land a major blow.

UrbanSpirit, carrying the first colours of the winner's owner, is another promising middle-distance prospect who was far from disgraced in fifth.

The System now stands +32pts in profit for the season, having had 13 winners, and 22 losers.

With another fine day in the offing we are hoping System CM07 is going to give us a couple of nice winners.

A so-so day for System WHT07 with THREE of its bets being placed.

The System did however manage two winning bets,

LIT UP – WON 4/9F, although it was available at Evens early on in the day. +2pts

Unfortunately we had 8 losing bets with THREE placed as I mentioned.

RP: Transcend came to win his race, but was always finding the winner holding him. He should not remain a maiden for long.

LIT UP was available at Evens in the morning but was backed into 4/9fav before the race.

As we know we do not back when a horse is ODDS-ON but as I availed myself of the Evens available I will count it as a winning bet. Sorry for those who were unable to get the minimum qualifying odds.

The System now stands +29pts in profit for the season, having had 12 winners, and 17 losers.

With the weather again being dry today and the ground having GOOD in its description at all three meetings today, System CM07 is an ideal System to work with, with lots of winners in the evens to 4/1 range, and short losing runs.

At the moment we are just watching the Systems selections, until horses have had their first run and we can see some degree of consistency in the trainers form.

CORRECTION
A selction we had at Folkstone, NICOMEDIA, should NOT have been included because she is a filly!!

Our System only selects colts and geldings, so apologies for that mistake on my part. I am going to have to be more careful!!

So the running total is adjusted to: -21.9pts

We had 1 runner on Saturday, which lost I am afraid!!

Sunday we had 2 selections , at nice prices, 10/1 and 14/1.

Neither of them won unfortunately, but one of the trainers had an entry that finished second at 25/1 so that is a positive sign.

We experienced out worst losing run this week with 4 losing bets on the bounce.

Another disppointing performance from our superstars of the future!!

RP: The race's biggest disappointments were One Gulp and Fiddling Again, who were both being niggled before halfway. Fiddling Again was subsequently hampered when Cracking Cliche fell but she was beaten at the time.

Current stats for this System stand at 3 runners, 3 losers.

Running total -6pts

Early days yet, but these runners are expected to be winning races all over the UK and Ireland this season, and in seasons to come.

At the moment we are just watching the Systems selections, until horses have had their first run and we can see some degree of consistency in the trainers form.

Today we had a runner at Folkstone, NICOMEDIA, which finished 2nd, which is good, but a winner would have been nice.

The Racing Post reported,
rp: Nicomedia proved no match for the winner, but still proved too strong for the remainder.

Another runner at Southwell, EL PALMAR, finished last of 14 @ 14/1, which was disappointing.

So we ended the day for proofing purposes down another -4pts.

On the positive side, one of the other trainers in our system had two runners at Folkstone and one, NORDIC LIGHT, WON at 5/1.

The second runner, RIVER KIROV, finished 4th of nine @ 4/1, beaten 1.5 lengths.

The races however, were handicaps and we do not take handicap races into consideration for this particular trainer.

BUT at least one of our trainers had a nice winner, and we are getting there, slowly!!

Not a great day for System WHT07 as two of its BANKER bets were beaten at Aintree.

The System did however manage two winning bets,

Reveillez – WON 9/2 +9pts
Whinhill House – WON 11/4 +5.5pts

Unfortunately we had 10 losing bets including our two bankers that were both placed.

Wichita Lineman – 2nd
Well Chief – 3rd

So Total for the day was, –5.5pts

B/fwd total = +10.93pts

Which makes our Running total now +5.43pts

Morning all, I hope you are enjoying the racing at Aintree this week.

Today, surprisingly we had NO selections for System CM07.

The only selections that came close to qualifying were,

WICHITA LINEMAN and WELL CHIEF.

Both superb horses that failed to qualify purely because the odds for both horses were less than evens!!

We NEVER bet odds-on in this System, it is one of the GOLDEN RULES we live by.

So we managed to avoid those two losers, thank goodness.

I would imagine there are a lot of unhappy punters out ther who have done their money on these two shoo-ins.

I even read of a number of people using BOTH these two horses as bankers in each-way treble bets!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!

Remember the old adage, doubles for show, SINGLES for pros.

Todays results for System TTF07.

4.30 MOTARJM - 7th of 16

6.05 DIG GOLD - 4th

This System has not got going at all at the moment.

The thing is this is a System based on FLAT racing, and until the runners get their first run out of the way, there are too many unknown factors.

It is best I think to just watch the selections at the moment, look for positive factors in their run and then wait until they come out again.

I will continue with the staking System of 2pts per selection and we will see where we are at the end of the month.

If we suddenly get our runners establishing a consistent run of form I will highlight the fact in the blog.

I will also point out any good points from the previous runs of our selections.

Keep watching this space, it will all come right when the ground has settled and the weather warms up!

Well, the Selling race selection was again successful, as was one of the runners at Aintree.

2.45 DIVERTIMENT - WON @ 13/8

3.10 KATCHIT - WON @ EVENS

In the 4.15 LIBERATE was disappointing, the Racing Post reported,
rp: LIBERATE who was a runner-up to Katchit in last month's Triumph Hurdle,
failed to reproduce that level over this longer trip. He was in trouble before stamina became an issue and was well held.

Our final selection, LAOUEN in the 22 runner handicap hurdle, looks as though he just simply ran out of steam on the day; the Racing Post reported;

rp: Laouen was always well placed and travelled nicely, but it was obvious two out that he wasn't going to beat Special Envoy, and he didn't find much for pressure. A disappointing effort, although this race may simply have come too quick for him.

The System now stands +19pts in profit for the season, having had 9 winners, 12 losers, and due to the sophisticated loss recovery method included in the System.

Good morning all, hope you are all looking forward to a great few days racing.

I have two selections for System TTF07 today,

5.05 Lei DIG GOLD

We are measuring our progress using a 2pt win stake on each selection, but for the moment if you are following these horses KEEP STAKES TO A MINIMUM until we hit a consistent run of winners.

This probably won't happen for a few weeks when the ground and weather improve and the horses have had their first run.

Well we have some real action today on the first day of the Aintree festival.

Some cracking races in prospect, and I hope we all find some winning bets today!!

I have gone through the selection process and have four selections for the day.

The System has thrown up another selection in a SELLING race, the 2.45 at Leicester, which as you know I personally try and avoid.

However, the System has been right so far, so we will stick with its selections.

I have been monitoring the results of this System for a week now, and the results are up and down some days, but that's probably the time of year, changing ground, flat horses having their first outing on turf and numerous other reasons.

BUT the System has been showing a PROFIT since day 1.

One of the selections I had my doubts about lost, that was in a selling race, which I personally usually avoid.

The selection MR EX was Pulled Up apparantly suffering some distress.

The other doubt I had was over a horse that hadn't run for 202 days, this in fact was a winning bet, so the System was right on this occasion!!

Well our first day making the selections and we had one winning bet, a non-runner and a losing bet, which won by a short head!!

The winner won at sp odds of 3/1, so I will count it as 4.3, i.e. sp + 10%.

We had another winning bet but the sp odds were 6/1 so it was outside the rules and not considered a bet.

I wasn't watching the exchanges today so if you managed to get a price of under 5/1 on Mardi Roberta congratulations on another winning bet.

There is so much movement now on the lower priced horses as punters back multiple selections in order to ensure a return on their investment in the race.

So B/fwd total: 12.6pts

Less 3.3pts = 9.3pts

Plus 1 winning bet: +1pt

Running total now stands at 10.3pts less 5% commission.

Lets hope for a clean sweep tomorrow.

One of the RULES of the System is that we NEVER BACK ODDS-ON, so if you were unable to get odds of evens or better on LAWYER DES ORMEAUX the selection would not have been a recommended bet.

The horse omitted by me CAPE VELVET did in fact lose, so my decision was vindicated. Phew, thank goodness for that.

Unlike our other BACKing Systems where we stake 2pts per selection, System CM07 takes a different approach deciding on a win target amount to achieve before starting again with a new group of selections.

For the purpses of this blog I will treat the target as 2 points, so a winner WINS 2 points as well as winning back previous losses.

I think with the summer coming this is an ideal System to work with, as once the weather improves you can expect lots of winners in the evens to 4/1 range, with short losing runs.

The System now stands +10pts in profit for the season, having had 5 winners and due to the sophisticated loss recovery method.

No selections today.

The only candidate was excluded because its odds were > 14/1, which is one of the rules of the System.

The reason for this being that for every 25/1 winner the System might throw up there would be another 50 or so 25/1 losers!!

Early days yet, the ground has not settled and too many unknown factors. If you are following the selections keep stakes to a minimum until we establish some sort of consistency.

Still aiming for a very tasty 100+ points profit this flat season, in fact last season exceeded this target by a long way!!
