CAMBRIDGESHIREMy picks here were:
ABSINTHE
MIRRORED
NATIONALISM
I am happy with 2 of those..............BUT here is an update.................
OK this is what I have read/heard from the pundits/experts/Uncle Tom Cobbly and all.....
Mid to Hi draw is preferred - Michael Hills...........
BUT I think if the rain stays away the going might be the same all across the track.
Because there are 35 runners, those drawn Low will either have to tack across to the middle, OR stay on the left rail.
The BEST horse is said to be NATIONALISM drawn 3, 'a group horse in a Hcp' from all accounts, doesn't seem to mind the ground - Buick is ultra confident he will win.
TAQLEED drawn 26, another Gosden hotpot - Buick thinks this is the one to beat - Gosden thinks this one is the VALUE choice, mind you that was when NATIONALISM was 7/2.
ABSINTHE drawn 28, is another horse that will be listed class and has a HI draw, and is my original fancy - It is also the P/Wise selection.
Horses need luck in running............. BUT if those 3 are that good, one of them will win imo.
:):)
Of the others,
CIRCUMVENT drawn 35 of 35 has been tipped, because last years winner made all against that rail.
CREDIT SWAP drawn 33, has been tipped because he loves soft ground and has a HI draw.
STEEL TANGO drawn 16 is another horse that has run in group races, and has a top apprentice on board.
EMIRATES DREAM drawn 29, is Godolphin and Frankie rides.
SMOKEY OAKEY will have a chance if a monsoon hits.
CAPPONI - Murtagh rides for Mark Johnston
PIRES - Irish raider
