Horses to Follow

The following horses are on our list and run today.

The first in the 2.20 at Bangor, Razor Royale is expected to win this if he is to go on to Cheltenham. The trainer thinks the horse has a 'an outstanding chance'.

Beantown runs in the 15:45 at Downpatrick, and is another who needs to run well to book his ticket to Cheltenham.

Past Form: A winner of a chase at 2m 6f on heavy ground. Third of 19 behind Forest Leaves beaten 9l at 25-1 on his latest outing in a chase at Punchestown over 3m 4f (soft) earlier this month.

An Innocent Man runs in the 14:15 at Downpatrick, and was nominated by his trainer as being a 'Surefire winner' at the beginning of the season.

The Old Pretender runs in the 14:10 at Folkestone, and is very highly thought of.

Russian Trigger runs in the 16:10 at Folkestone, and is another highly thought of horse. He runs today over an extended trip and I will just be watching to see how he goes.

Horses to Follow

A couple to WATCH today for future reference.

14:30 Hereford - Calaficial

Form figures: 8191-
Successful in NH flat races twice at 2m on good and heavy ground.
Trained by Alan King whose horses usually need their first run.

16:00 Hereford - Rippling Ring

Form figures: 15-55
A winner of a hurdle race at 2m on good ground.
Ex-South African Derby horse who was expected to be something special but has disappointed so far. If he runs well he may go to Aintree as flat tracks should suit him as he is all about speed NOT stamina.

BE LUCKY!!

Horses to Follow

HEBRIDEAN won nicely and is one to be added to the list with a note that Good ground is required to see the best of this horse.

Whether or not he runs in the Triumph hurdle at Cheltenham is unknown, but Ruby Walsh wasn't sure the uphill finish would suit and felt he might be better aimed at Punchestown where he can use his undoubted flat speed.

NACARAT won nicely and is another to be followed on Good ground. Will probably be aimed at Aintree.

HERECOMESTHETRUTH is a bit of an odd character but jumps superbly well. Likely to run in the Topham over the big National fences.

JASS disappointed in his run today.

SNOWY MORNING finished 2nd in his race, although well in at the weights he didn't handle the going as well as the winner, who likes it hock-deep in mud.

Well with 2 winners and 3 of the e/w doubles providing a return we made a bit of money on our bets.

Cheltenham is getting closer all the time, need to get back to those form books.

Horses to Follow

A couple of horses to watch for today for future reference.

Excape - runs in the 1:30 at Plumpton for AP McCoy and Nicky Henderson.

This one has been backed for the Triumph hurdle recently, so I am expecting a decent performance today in his prep race, which should put him spot on for Cheltenham.

The Package - 4:20 - Plumpton

This horse was nominated as a horse to follow by trainer David Pipe in a stable tour on ATR. Well beaten fav last time out on soft ground, so maybe one to watch today if ground is soft or worse.

BE LUCKY!!

Best Tips of the Day!!

Well BALLYMAK won, slightly fortuitously, BUT the real story was someone getting £54 matched @ 999/1 in running.

£54k done in cold blood, I bet someone is in shock today!!

LAYing horses @ 1000.0 is a bit like walking in front of a steamroller picking up £1 coins, easy money until it goes t*ts-up!!

BE LUCKY!!

Best Tips of the Day!!

4.15 d/royal
BALLYMAK @ 7/4

Trainer Gordon Elliot thinks a lot of this one and todays going will suit.
